Summit Valley Health Collaborative is seeking a Clinical Program Director to lead a growing multidisciplinary clinical program serving Sacramento and surrounding communities. This role oversees program operations, clinical quality, team development, and community partnerships.

The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical background, experience leading teams, and a commitment to improving healthcare access. The Clinical Program Director reports to the Chief Clinical Officer and works closely with medical staff, community organizations, and state-level partners.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Lead daily program operations and clinical team coordination
  • Design and implement clinical quality improvement initiatives
  • Support staff professional development and continuing education
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and referral networks
  • Track program outcomes, prepare reports, and present to organizational leadership
  • Represent the program in regional leadership meetings and stakeholder forums

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required

  • Advanced healthcare credential (NP, PA, DNP, or equivalent clinical background)
  • 5+ years of clinical or program leadership experience
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience working with underserved or rural communities
  • Background in clinical education or preceptorship
  • Policy, advocacy, or legislative engagement experience
  • Association or chapter leadership experience
